To change colors in your page such as font, background, link color, visited link color and active linkcolor click the color picker on the right lower toolbar. There you can choose a button then change the color of it's respective element. The color chooser works in both source and edit modes. | |
Insert image works in both source and edit modes. To insert an image first select where you would like the image to be in your page then click the insert image button on the lower right toolbar. Simply browse your directories until you find your desired image then click open. Keep in mind that you may have to change the image path to suit your directories on your server. Images also can be made 2D by right clicking on thier borders, then is possible to drag and drop them anywhere on the screen for more about this please see Context Menu and or Style Sheets. | |
The insert hyperlink button can be used in both edit and source modes and is equally as effective in either. To insert a hyperlink(edit mode) select the text or image that you would like to be your link then choose the hyper button on the lower right toolbar, insert the URL to the site or page that you want to link to. To insert a hyperlink(source mode) select where you would like the link to be in your document then click the hyper button fill in the URL and thats it. | |
Image mapping works in both source and edit modes and the process is the same for both. First select where in your document you would like the map to be placed then click the image map wizard button on the lower right toolbar. When the select image dialog appears select the image that you would like to map. After the image is loaded click the select region button then click in the top left corner of the region that you would like to make, while still holding the mouse down drag the box until you have your desired region then click one time. Next enter a URL that the region will be linked to and an alternate text that would be displayed. Continue this until you have finished creating all regions then click finish, next enter a name for your map then you are done. | |
The form creation menu is only available in edit mode. To create a form or form elements select where in your document you would like the element then select the desired element from the form menu. Enter the elements name and if necessary it's value. Form elements can be placed in or out of a form. | |
Style sheet wizards and features are only available in edit mode. To create a new style class select create style class from the Style menu. When the style dialog appears enter the style name and select it's top margin, font family, font size and color. After your style class has been created it is possible to create div's and span's using it's class name thus saving time by writing individual styles for each div or span. To do this select div or span enter an id for it then enter the class name for the appropriate class. Once an element is dynamic it is possible drag and drop it anywhere on the page it is also possible to stack or layer dynamic elements. To do this select the element that you wish to manipulate then from the Style menu you can bring it forward, bring it all the way to the front, send it backwards or send it all the way to the back, you can also put the element under or above text. Also, because some browsers do not support absolute positioning it is also possible to turn absolute positioning off for selected elements. To do this select the element then from the style menu select absolute positioning. | |
The context menu is a very handy tool but is only available in edit mode, it gives the ability to make items 1 and 2 dimensional, change font, font color, background color. It also has table features such as adding and deleting rows and columns. With the quick ability to insert images, cut, copy, paste and select all. To make a element 1 or 2 dimensional right click anywhere on it's borders then select make 1 or 2D. | |
There are two Javascript wizards available currently and only the rollover wizard is available in edit mode. To use the Events Wizard change to source mode select in your document where you would like the event to occur i.e.body tag, submit button etc.... Then select Event Wizard from the Javascript menu. A list of events will show up on the left of the dialog box and a list of functions from your document will appear on the right select the the desired event then select the function you want it to call then press finish. To use the Rollover Wizard to create mouse rollovers for images, first select where in your document you would like the rollover to occur i.e. where the images would be. Next select the Rollover Wizard from the Javascript menu and select images that you would like for the rollover(hint: if you are new this you must have an even number of images for this to work). Then press create rollover. AT RELEASE TIME THERE IS CURRENT WORK BEING DONE ON A MORE SOPHISTICATED ROLLOVER WIZARD THAT SUPPORTS IMAGES AND DYNAMIC ELEMENTS.
